Use External Stimuli During Exercise

How many of us have just pushed through a workout telling ourselves that it will all be worth it in the long run? Well if you don’t enjoy working out for the sake of working out, you may start dreading exercise time as the workout just drags on and on. An external stimulus (Music, TV, Movie) while working out can not only make the time go by faster but can really get you motivated to workout (I mean who doesn’t want to just conquer the world listening to the “Rocky Soundtrack”?).

Now this external stimulus can be whatever you want it to be. Many people have special playlists on their Mp3 players just for working out. Others have certain television shows (either purchased or they schedule workout times around its schedule). In fact, by designating your favorite shows around your workout schedule will allow you to have another reason to look forward to your daily workout.

So whether you listening to your high energy music or watching your favorite TV show makes the workout all worth it, try to figure what can stimulate your mind. Some people love to read their favorite magazines.
