Citrus Aurantium/Bitter Orange/Zhi Shi

Citrus Aurantium is a common ingredient found in many non-prescription diet supplements. Citrus Aurantium is also known as Bitter Orange or Zhi, Shi; the active component in it is synephrine, a compound chemically similar to Ephedrine/Ephedra.

In a marketplace that has been desperately searching for an Ephedra replacement since its ban in 2005, Citrus Aurantium could be good news for you if you need an effective weight loss supplement.

The only problem with this supplement is that there is very little in the way of solid clinical evidence supporting the weight loss claims of Citrus Aurantium. However, there are hundreds of products based on this ingredient many of which have tons of positive customer feedback.

So when preparing to start a new supplement, take a look at what people are saying before trying. Also, when you start taking this product pay careful attention to how your body reacts to it. So, as with any dietary supplement, caution is advised until you are sure how your body will react to it.
